The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium #2)

Hi Guys,

Sorry if I have been MIA this week. I have been a little out of it … My energy is very low for an unknown reason.

I finally finished my other book though! Let me tell you, the Millenium series from Stieg Larsson is so addictive. I am completely hooked! I found out there are 2 more books after the third book which I am excited about! I will have to rent the movie this weekend. 🙂

This book is about sex trafficking and murder investigations which Lisbeth finds herself involved in. For the longest time, she was able to hide with no trace, until she found out who was involved. Lisbeth Salander is a crazy woman but she has her reasons…

Here is the Goodreads Synopsis:

The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium #2)

by Stieg LarssonReg Keeland (Translator)

The Expose
Millennium publisher Mikael Blomkvist has made his reputation exposing corrupt establishment figures. So when a young journalist approaches him with an investigation into sex trafficking, Blomkvist cannot resist waging war on the powerful figures who control this lucrative industry.

The Murder
When a young couple is found dead in their Stockholm apartment, it’s a straightforward job for Inspector Bublanski and his team. The killer left the weapon at the scene – and the fingerprints on the gunpoint to only one direction.

The Girl Who Played with Fire
Ex-security analyst Lisbeth Salander is wanted for murder. Her history of unpredictable and vengeful behavior makes her an official danger to society – but no-one can find her. The only way Salander can be reached is by computer. But she can break into almost any network she chooses…

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book starts slow, but when the suspense starts, you don’t want to stop reading. Absolutely love this series! I started reading the next one already! When I saw there was 2 more after that, I was so happy! Guess what I will do next weekend? I will rent the movie. 🙂
