#FITNESSJOURNEY: UPDATE (2)

Hello everyone,

running achievement.jpgThis week was a mix of achievements and setbacks. I am really happy with what I was able to achieve with my running workout this week. I was supposed to stick to 2 mins walk and 2 mins running, but my last 2 workouts, I introduced the 3 mins running and increase the length of my workouts. Instead of 43 mins, I’ve increased it to 50 mins! The longest cardio workout I have done for the past 2 years! It was a great feeling.

I’ve also done a lot of walking on Saturday! It was beautiful outside, the weather was above the freezing mark, so we took the dog for a walk and we went downtown for the Toronto light festival. I don’t know if I wasn’t in the artsy mood that day, but I was not impressed by it, maybe I had too much of a high expectation about it. It was still a great day and much better than sitting on the couch for sure!

On the other side, I had a few setbacks, I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it’s still against what I wanted to do. I had a few of my fav lattes and had a few drinks over the weekend. I won’t let this defeat me though. Tomorrow is another day to start again!

What is important is that we feel good about ourselves. I still had a few achievements! Progress with my running!
