Day 4: 12 Days of Gratitude Challenge

Achievements… They can be big or small, but they are as important to one another. They make us feel good and proud of ourselves. They bring positivity into our lives and give us a sense of fulfillment.

This 4th day of the challenge, I am grateful for finishing my college degree with honors in 2006. I have worked hard for 2 years and despite the language barrier I was facing, as I mentioned on Day 3 of this challenge, I managed to do very well and found my first job in the field as I was still in school.

I am also grateful for accomplishing a half marathon in 2014 although I was struggling with a knee injury. I decided to do the half marathon for my mother who was fighting cancer. I collected donations for a cancer organization and completed the half marathon. Training for this race was a rollercoaster and a lot of work, but I did it and I’m grateful to have been able to stick to the plan and actually do it.

What accomplishment are you the most grateful to have achieved?

I would love to hear your stories!
